For Solo Night, you will be responsible for playing:
Practice Tips for your Solo Night Performance
Practice along with the metronome.
1) Start at a tempo slower than your performance tempo (about 20 beats slower)
2) See if you can play 4-8 measures at this slow tempo five times in a row with no mistakes
3) Once you can play if perfectly 5 times in a row, bump up the tempo to the next "dot" (4 beats fast)
4) Keep doing this until you are up to your performance tempo. Now, you are ready for the accompaniments below.
